ENOHE, a ‘European’ network, has always been open to international collaboration (far) beyond Europe and is interested in different approaches to the concept of ombuds work in diverse cultural settings.
ENOHE is delighted to cooperate with strategic partners for the forthcoming ENOHE annual conference 2019 in León, Spain. This especially since Spain has the biggest and most active national ombuds network: CEDU (in its self-description: defending and protecting rights within higher education in Spain).
ENOHE 2019 is generously hosted by the Defensoría [Ombuds Office] of the University of León in Spain. The Conference Planning Committee of the ENOHE conference 2019 in Leon, Spain, is now calling for proposals for presentations.
We want to ensure the conference meets the needs of our participants and is as inclusive as possible. Hence we are planning to have some workshops either on the general conference theme or sub-themes in Spanish (with English handouts) in order to promote global exchanges among Spanish-speaking colleagues as well as Anglophone participants. This will enrich our dialogue on the international experiences of ombudspersons in higher education.
